A Special Interest Group (SIG) is a community with an interest in advancing a specific area of knowledge, learning or technology where members cooperate to effect or to produce solutions within their particular field, and may communicate, meet, and organize events. The HAC SIGs have no seen much use recently, but any group can certainly be rejuvenated by HAC members at any time. Small get-togethers arranged by group members at either the Patterson Observatory or at other locations chosen by the group members are encouraged. Interest in any of these groups should first be expressed within a message posted to the HAC-LIST. The HAC-LIST is an email based forum for HAC members.
